Also if you use firefox as your browser you can directly boomark a particular feed by clicking on the  image in the address bar of your browser.

WHAT IS RSS?

In laymans terms that means its a special file that is always updated to keep you informed of the latest news, products etc.
To read these files you need (unless you are using firefox) is a piece of software called an aggreagator, this basically pulls the information from these files and displays them in a readable format that you can use (basically like a web browser pulls all the code from a page into a viewable format).
