HOM award string
HOM has done smart undies before, but these are the crème de la crème. The colours are named simply black or white, but that does not do justice to the regal colouring of Award mens underwear. The string is actually a tanga style thong with a deep elasticated waistband, a double layered front pouch and a half inch tanga back. The hipster style also has a double layered pouch and the micro brief a full double layered front. The pièce de resistance in the Award design is the waistband, most importantly the stripes. Elasticated with a soft lining, the waistband features two stripes and a woven HOM logo in the accent colour. White is partnered with metallic gold with a lovely soft sheen. And black is highlighted with a rich ruby stripe and logo. The body fabric for Award uses a sequence of bands of fine vertical stripes in matt and semi-transparent fabric, giving the impression of translucence but with an all-but-opaque effect.
